Recently, a batch of high-quality mobile Lead Barriers produced by CNRAYSHIELD completed the processes of loading, customs declaration, and maritime transportation, and were officially sent to our cooperative customers in Portugal. The Portuguese client involved in this collaboration has been deeply involved in the local medical radiation protection field for many years and is a well-known medical equipment service provider in the region, mainly providing radiology and interventional operating room protective equipment to many public hospitals and private clinics in the area. As a member of the European Union, Portugal has extremely high safety and technical standards for access to medical devices and industrial radiation protection equipment (such as CE certification and stringent radiation shielding testing).
At the beginning of the procurement process, the client posed extremely high requirements regarding the accuracy of the lead equivalent value of the mobile lead shield, the zero-ray-leakage manufacturing process, and the structural stability of the product during long-term use. In nuclear medicine applications such as drug dispensing and injection in PET centers, as well as in interventional radiology settings, even the smallest design flaws can lead to stray radiation leakage.

100% accurate protection factor: To meet the client’s high standards of 2.0 mmPb protection, we used high-purity refined lead plates and ensured that the joints between the stainless-steel frame and the large-size lead-glass windows feature an innovative “labyrinth-style” overlapping structure designed to prevent leaks.
Completely compliant material selection: The entire frame of this medical X-Ray barrier is made from medical-grade 304 stainless steel. This material is not only resistant to corrosion and easy to disinfect but also fully complies with the sterilization standards required by European medical institutions.
The X-Ray mobile barrier contains heavy-duty lead cores and is equipped with high-value radiation-resistant lead glass, which demands high shock and moisture resistance for international cross-border logistics. To this end, we have adopted strict international foreign trade packaging standards: the outermost layer uses thickened, fumigation-free sealed wooden boxes; The middle layer is protected by custom high-density EVA shockproof foam; The inner layer uses high-strength vacuum moisture-proof bags and desiccants to enhance the product’s sealing and stability, ensuring everything is flawless during transportation.
Currently, the shipment has been successfully shipped overseas. After rigorous sample acceptance in the early stages and remote follow-up throughout the entire production process, the Portuguese customer gave very high praise to the final product delivery quality.
