The Radiation Glove Box, developed and produced by CNRAYSHIELD, recently arrived at the designated delivery location in Iran. After on-site commissioning and acceptance, it has officially begun packaging radiopharmaceuticals. The successful delivery of this order not only demonstrates the high recognition of our products in the international market but also highlights our core competitiveness in the field of nuclear medicine protective equipment.
The portable shielded isolator purchased by the Iranian customer needed to be adapted to the specific space of their nuclear pharmacy and compatible with the packaging of both ⁹⁹ᵐTc and ¹⁸F. To address this requirement, we provided a fully customized solution, optimizing the glove box‘s main operating area to 1.8m x 1.2m, with two auxiliary ports located on the sides. The overall height was reduced to 2.6m, perfectly accommodating the customer’s site’s ceiling height restrictions. Taking into account the short half-life of ⁹⁹ᵐTc (6 hours), we optimized the operating process and shortened the drug transfer channel within the glove box to 0.5m, improving drug distribution efficiency.
The cabinet uses a composite structure of 304 stainless steel and lead plates, achieving a radiation shielding efficiency of 99.9%. It also features a built-in HEPA H14 high-efficiency filter with a filtration efficiency of ≥99.97% for radioactive aerosols larger than 0.3μm. It is also equipped with a dual-stage activated carbon adsorption module to absorb the exhaust of volatile drugs such as ¹⁸F, ensuring that the exhaust meets Iran’s Air Pollutant Emission Standards.
Our company partnered with a logistics company qualified for the international transport of radioactive equipment. We pre-processed all customs clearance documents and quality certifications to circumvent customs barriers, ensuring the equipment was delivered from our domestic factory to the client’s site in Iran in just 35 days.
If requested by the client, we can dispatch two engineers with over 10 years of experience in nuclear medicine equipment installation to Iran, equipped with a full set of commissioning tools. Within 72 hours, they will complete equipment installation, piping connections, and system calibration. They will also conduct simulated drug dispensing tests with the client’s team to ensure smooth operation. We have also established a 24-hour after-sales response mechanism and an English-speaking technical support team to ensure prompt resolution of any customer issues.
This collaboration further validates our technical strength and service capabilities. Going forward, we will continue to focus on technological innovation in nuclear medicine protection, providing more customized and efficient protection solutions tailored to the needs of different countries and scenarios, and contributing to the safe development of nuclear medicine globally.
