Recently, CNRAYSHIELD completed a bulk shipment of mobile lead screens to a prominent Canadian medical equipment distributor. This batch of protective equipment, specifically engineered for nuclear medicine applications, will be deployed in core procedures such as radionuclide injections and imaging examinations at local healthcare institutions. It establishes a secure and reliable radiation shield for both medical staff and patients, signifying further recognition of our company’s nuclear medicine protection products within the North American market.
The delivered mobile lead screens offer high-grade protection: the main body utilizes premium lead plates with a lead equivalent of 10mm Pb, strictly adhering to ISO 13485 medical device quality standards and relevant Canadian certifications. They effectively block ionizing radiation, including X-rays and gamma rays, achieving over 99.9% protection efficiency—significantly exceeding industry averages.
Additionally, we have fitted the units with silent swivel castors (equipped with brake locking mechanisms) to meet client requirements. Medical staff can effortlessly maneuver the screens to any location, such as beside examination beds or injection stations, fulfilling the nuclear medicine department’s need for ‘multi-zone dynamic protection’. Additionally, it supports standalone single-screen operation or multi-screen configuration, accommodating operational spaces ranging from 1.2m to 2.5m in width. This eliminates the ‘coverage blind spots’ inherent in traditional fixed protective installations, with meticulous design fully aligned with clinical usage practices.
CNRAYSHIELD boasts 15 years of experience in the production and export of nuclear medicine protective equipment. With a dedicated team comprised of radiation medicine experts and materials engineers, CNRAYSHIELD leverages its three major domestic production bases (in Jiangsu, Guangdong, and Sichuan) to ensure rapid delivery. Furthermore, we have partnered with leading logistics companies such as UPS and DHL for international logistics. Through a “customs pre-declaration + priority customs clearance” model, CNRAYSHIELD ensures that products arrive at Canadian customer warehouses in just 20 days, effectively mitigating the risk of cross-border shipping delays. This shipment also includes an English operating manual, protective test reports, and other documentation to ensure rapid customer adoption.
This partnership marks a significant step in our company’s expansion into overseas markets. Currently, our nuclear medicine protective products are available in over 50 countries and regions worldwide, including markets with varying medical standards, such as the United States, Singapore, and South Africa. Going forward, we will continue to focus on the nuclear medicine protective field, developing customized products tailored to the protection standards of various countries. We will also expand our overseas service network to provide safer and more efficient protective solutions to medical institutions worldwide.
